Happy Birthday

It's a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge where the theme is always 'Anything Goes' as long as you use patterned paper.

I am entering Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Friends 'Anything Goes'. The paper and card are from my snippets drawer so I'm also heading to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 7" x 7" cream silk
Dies: Memory Box ' Stitched Happy Birthday Circle', Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Snippets: Cream silk and maroon matt card, Wild Rose Studio 'Man About Town' paper

I trimmed the paper to make a square, layered it onto cream and maroon card before attaching it to the centre of the card blank.  I die cut Happy Birthday from cream card and attached it to a die cut cream circle.  This was then fixed to the centre of a die cut and embossed maroon circle.  I die cut Happy Birthday from maroon card and inlaid the pieces.
